Meet The Team

Logan Byrne, Esq.
Founder & Attorney
​
Logan is an experienced attorney, passionate advocate, political consultant, and Michigan native. Logan has significant experience in family law, criminal law, immigration law, political law, and political consulting. Whether you are facing a difficult divorce or custody battle, serious criminal charges, or complex immigration issues, Logan can handle your case.
​
​During Law school, Logan served as the President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and worked for several immigration organizations, including the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in San Francisco, California. After graduating law school, he worked as an associate attorney for an employment law firm in Saginaw, Michigan where he focused on employment, construction, and labor law issues for locally and nationally recognized businesses and a variety of employment immigration matters for both businesses and individuals.

After working as an associate attorney, Logan worked for both the Hon. Elizabeth Kelly in Genesee County and the Hon. Rosemarie Aquilina in Ingham County. In Ingham County, he advised the court on criminal law matters and helped design, plan, and implement a new treatment court. In Genesee County, he advised the court on both criminal law and family law matters. However, he most notably advised the court on the issues surrounding the Flint Water Crises felony criminal cases.

Logan is dedicated to bettering the community and currently serves as the President of the Ingham County Bar Association - Young Lawyers Section and a board member for the East Lansing Zoning Board of Appeals.
​
​Logan holds a JD from Michigan State University College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Eastern Michigan University.

Leanna is a third-year law student at Michigan State University College of Law where she is a Staff Editor on Michigan State Law Review and an Activity Chair for the Lawyers for Active Wellness Legion. Before attending law school, Leanna taught middle and high school in Tennessee and Connecticut.

With a strong background in program execution, operations, and team development, Barbie brings a results-oriented approach to Byrne Law, ensuring seamless operational efficiency and supporting the firm’s mission to provide dedicated, zealous advocacy in criminal defense, family law, immigration law, election law, CPS defense, and political consulting. Drawing on her experience as a former Office Manager at another law firm, Barbie is adept at managing day-to-day business operations, overseeing partner relations, finances, and office logistics while maintaining a focus on Byrne Law's core values of passionate, informed, and strategic representation.

Barbie holds a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on Human Resources and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. With her leadership, strategic vision, and commitment to success, Barbie plays a pivotal role in helping Byrne Law fulfill its mission of offering informed and passionate legal services to clients in the Lansing area and beyond.
